Workplace Mediation

 

In recent years there has been an increasing trend to use what have been called Alternative Resolution processes to resolve employment disputes, which in the main means mediation. Whilst not every situation is suitable for mediation there are an increasing number of circumstances in which avoidance of the costly and very time consuming Tribunal process is a sensible option. Emplex has experience of and expertise in, facilitating mediation between an employer and employee, enabling both parties to reach a mutually acceptable conclusion

Whilst each situation is different the Emplex approach is to understand what both sides see as the key issues and what each party sees as the starting point in a process to try and resolve the situation. By setting out the legal situation as well as the practical realities of pursuing or defending an issue Emplex are able to support and encourage both parties to flex their position to draw the issue to a conclusion.
