Alison Hough LLB (Hons) Alison was awarded her LLB from the University of London in 1996 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1997. She has specialised in employment law both in practice and through her teaching at several leading Universities and Business Schools. Alison has published a number of legal textbooks including three editions of ‘Employment Law’ a practical textbook for students and HR professionals.
Primal Laxman LLB (Hons) LLM, has been with Emplex since 2007 and is highly experienced in handling Settlement Agreements, redundancy situations and drafting contracts of employment. Primal is wholly committed to his clients and often goes far beyond the call of duty.
Pamela Sellman, BA LLM MA in Business Law, MRes in Law, Barrister, Attorney (New York), has specialised in employment law for many years. Pamela is an accredited Mediator and, not surprisingly, is very pro-mediation believing that it empowers parties to come to their own solution and encourages them to look forward. Pamela has taught both Employment Law and Mediation at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Michael Smith BA (Hons) Barriser formerly a trainee with Emplex is now practising as an employment barrister at Thomas More Chambers in London. Michael’s expertise is invaluable and we call upon his services as and when appropriate.
Peter Hough BSc (Hons) LLB (Hons) Peter has more than 25 years experience in the corporate environment with companies such as British Airways and Toyota. Armed with a law degree from the University of London specialising in employment law, Peter has extensive experience of the realities of employment law in the workplaceand is well placed to advise on practical cost effective solutions to employment problems that may arise.
